Every day the dance grows a little – and with it the children’s confidence. Here’s what the week looks like:
Music on, ice broken: the children meet their instructor and learn the basic steps – the dance begins to take shape.
Step by step, the group’s dance comes together. Every child gets their own place – and realises: I can do this.
The whole dance from start to finish, with positions and finale. The nerves rise – and so does the excitement.
A performance for parents, staff and the other groups. Applause, proud faces – a moment that stays with everyone.
On Monday, there are children who have never “taken their positions” before. Some barely dare to step into the middle. On Friday, the same children stand in front of an audience – beaming.
In between lies something no single project day can achieve: sticking with it. The children discover that something can be hard at first and then work – and that practice pays off. They notice that the group only shines together: the wildest one learns to wait, the quietest one gets her moment. And at the final dance, they feel for the first time what applause is like when you’ve earned it yourself.
For your team, the week is a bonus: they see the children from a whole new side – and experience live how our instructors lead entire groups with music and clear signals.
Unlike a one-off activity day, the week has a real story arc: the children work towards something – and at the end, they experience what they’ve achieved together.
The Dance Week is the ideal way to experience SmartDance at your setting – many partners go on to start the weekly courses afterwards.
We bring the music, the concept and the choreography. An empty room is all you need – our instructors take care of the rest.

“Very straightforward, smooth communication, reliable partners. When the classes come back from their lessons, it’s nothing but thumbs up and smiling faces. I can really recommend it.”

“Perfectly structured from a teaching point of view. Today even the boys joined in with real enthusiasm. You can feel how little children move these days – something like this is really, really important. Keep it up!”

“Everyone does the moves, everyone joins in – even boys I’d never have expected it from. They kept practising the dance moves at break time. A really good project.”

“SmartDance is a wonderfully successful project that Christina took on with a great deal of passion. I saw its beginnings first-hand at our kindergarten – and I’m impressed by how much it has grown.”

“I like it much better than maths or German – I’d do a maths dance lesson twice a week.”
On Friday, children stood on stage who on Monday hadn’t even dared to join the circle. The parents were over the moon.
The whole week had a real pull: every morning the children came in asking when it was finally time to dance again. At the final dance, half our team had tears in their eyes.
For us, the Dance Week was the trial run before the weekly courses. After the performance, the decision was a no-brainer – the parents practically made it for us.
